With more than 40 years of professional experience, Ms. DeLong has been active as an interior designer with DBL Designs and Bonnie DeLong Designs since 2011. Prior to obtaining her current roles, she excelled as an elementary principal with Heritage Christian School from 2000 to 2004, having worked as a kindergarten teacher since 1990 and a preschool teacher from 1988 to 1990. Earlier in her career, Ms. DeLong flourished as a junior high school gymnastics coach from 1977 to 1978 and a first-grade teacher with Clark County Christian School from 1976 to 1977.
Ms. DeLong initially pursued an education with Washington State University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in education in 1976. She later continued her studies with the Art Institute of Seattle, earning a degree in residential design, with honors, in 2011. She has been certified by the American Society of Interior Designer and the Interior Design Continuing Education Council. Ms. DeLong is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers.
