Robert Reed, Owner and Journalist at Cannabis News and Politics, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in research and reporting.
Mr. Reed’s area of expertise is in fact-finding and seeking out the truth as a journalist. His original motto is “clearing the smoking mirrors of 80 years of information.” He is self-taught and he has completed all of his websites, social media profiles, filed briefs, and court cases on his own. As the owner and a journalist at Cannabis News and Politics since 2010, Mr. Reed began his professional career as a sailor, machinist, mate, and chief petty officer in the United States Navy in 1972, remaining in service for 16.5 years before receiving his honorable discharge in 1988. He then served as the chief executive officer of the American Spirit Enterprise and was a radio host at KABF-88.3 Little Rock in Arkansas for two years. In addition to these roles, he is an ordained minister, news reporter, legislative researcher, and lobbyist.
A civics teacher at his local bank, Mr. Reed is affiliated with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, and the Patriot Guard Riders. In recognition of his efforts, the Boy Scouts of America named him a Presidential Scout Leader, and he was the recipient of the Boy Scouts Award from the Southeast Council of Japan, as well as the Soldiers Angels Award. He attributes his success to his honesty. There has not been one single time that the validity of his work has been questioned. This is because he always had source proof, which is important in his line of work. Moving forward, Mr. Reed hopes to be sitting back and able to say that he did the best that he could with what he had.
