Backed by a BA in English from 1993 and a MA in English and writing from 1994, both from Simmons University, in 2018, Ms. Brodie also achieved an Executive Master’s in business and corporate communications from the IE School of Human Sciences and Technology. The internet did not fully exist when Ms. Brodie began spearheading her career, meanwhile today she is the 15-year digital transformation and customer experience strategist and founder of Gearmark, a marketing and digital strategy firm. Additionally, she excels in her roles as director of content strategy for HCB Health and vice president of product development for Revshop, Inc. Having partnered with numerous clients to provide strategy, planning and implementation plans for user experience initiatives, Ms. Brodie was named Outstanding Marketing Employee by HP in 2013 and was the recipient of the Core Value Award from Hotwire in 2004.

Prior to her current roles, Ms. Brodie gained experience with HP, Quickoffice, Hotwire, KPMG Consulting, Thomson Finical, ATG, and Aspen Technology. In an effort to expand her knowledge, in 2019 she published the book “Revenue or Relationships: Win Both,” to help executives understand what happened when the world automated and customers became part of the business. Looking ahead in her career, Ms. Brodie plans to build a product to help companies better measure their relationships with their customers. She is a member of the Ellevate Networks, serving as the Dallas membership chair, and previously dedicated time to the Bernie Sanders Campaign, Dallas Entrepreneur Center, and Women’s Edition at the DEC. Ms. Brodie attributes all of her career success to listening, as she feels certain that listening is key to creating great customer experiences.
