Lenell Lucas, Retired Accountant, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in accounting.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Lucas pursued a formal education at Howard University, where he completed coursework between 1972 to 1974. Soon thereafter, Mr. Lucas enlisted in the United States Army and was given the title of a petroleum supply specialist for three years until his honorable discharge in 1979. Mr. Lucas furthered his academic efforts by earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baruch College in 1982. He concluded his studies at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey after completing coursework in accounting for three additional years.

At the start of his professional career, Mr. Lucas assumed employment with the United States Department of Defense as an accountant, which he maintained for 20 years until 2007. During this time, he also flourished as an instructor in various business schools from 1989 to 1997. Mr. Lucas served as a consultant for the federal government from 2008 until 2011. Today, Mr. Lucas devoted his time as a disc jockey and as the inventor of the Fruitsuit Card Game.

In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Mr. Lucas is affiliated with the National Association for the Advanced of Colored People. Outside of work, he enjoys playing the cello, traveling, photography, chess, sports, music, and board games during his spare time. In the coming years, he intends to expand upon the success he has achieved with the Fruitsuit Card Game.
