The music industry left a strong impact on Mr. Rubinson’s life, and so he sought after a career to honor his family’s legacy. In 2017, he became the notable CEO and president of Armadillo Enterprises, a musical instrument manufacturer, where he drove a 33 percent net income increase in only one year. Mr. Rubinson received a BA in economics and public policy with a specialization in international trade from Duke University in 2015. He commenced his professional career as a private equity analyst with Prometheus Partners in 2012, and served in his initial roles for Armadillo Enterprises in 2013 as an international sales strategist and financial analyst. Progressing up the career ladder, Mr. Rubinson was a portfolio manager for a financial services company from 2014 to 2016, and served in his first executive role as CEO and CIO of Koroit Capital in 2016. After college, Mr. Rubinson ran his own startup investment fund and biotech and health eccentric hedge fund for eight months. A member of the National Association of Music Merchants, Mr. Rubinson hopes to grow his company in the upcoming years and start up a new hedge fund in an effort to turn a variety of his interests into successful business endeavors.
