Jari Majewski-Price, Founder and Executive Director at Feel the Beat, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in nonprofit management and dance.
The founder and executive director of the nonprofit organization, Feel the Beat, in Colorado since 2016, Ms. Majewski-Price boasts a strong passion for dance and helping children achieve their best. From a young age, she struggled with traditional methods of learning until coming to the realization that she was a visual learner. Since that time, she has made it her mission to pay it forward to other children who struggle with similar difficulties in learning. Coupled with her interest in musical theatre and American Sign Language, she sought to blend her interests to allow deaf, hard-of-hearing and special needs children flourish in their lives.
Drawing upon an Associate of Science in sign language interpretation and translation from Northeastern University, Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theatre from Pace University, and Master of Education in deaf education and Master of Arts in early childhood education and teaching, both from Columbia University, Ms. Majewski-Price has past experience as a teacher for deaf and special needs students. Her studies led her to develop a vibrational dance floor constructed of bone conduction transducers that allow an individual’s body feel musical beats. Incorporating this vibrational floor to the Feel the Beat music studio, she is proud to have served as a stepping stone for children who have often experienced music for the very first time there. As a testament to her success, Ms. Majewski-Price received the Citizenship Award from the Suffolk County Board of Education and was recognized as Best Dance Studio in Denver.
