Company: Kori’s Muttley Crew
Location: Coupeville, Washington, United States
Kori Hall, Owner at Kori’s Muttley Crew, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in animal behavior and care.
In her youth, Ms. Hall struggled with mental illness and she sought after a tool to help better manage her lifestyle. Once she rescued a terrier named Ziggy from a hoarding house, her world shifted as she readjusted her focus to take care of her dog rather than dwell on her troubles. From there, she decided to make it her mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and help others understand animal behavior. Today, Ms. Hall is a notable dog trainer, canine trauma specialist, and animal care entrepreneur, with distinction as the owner of Kori’s Muttley Crew since 2018. The company functions as a 6,000 square-foot cage-free canine daycare and boarding facility, serving the community of Oak Harbor, Washington. Ms. Hall attributes her current career success to her six rescue dogs and two rescue cats, her son, and her family, as well as to sticking by her motto, “Treat everyone, and all animals as you would want to be treated yourself.”
Ms. Hall attended the Animal Behavior College in Santa Clarita, California, where she became certified as a canine obedience trainer in 2013, as well as certified in animal grooming and in pet CPR. Drawing upon nearly 10 years of professional expertise, Ms. Hall commenced her career as a veterinary assistant at Best Friends Veterinary Hospital in Oak Harbor from 2017 to 2018. She went on to serve as a dog and cat groomer at Pet Valu in Kokomo, Indiana in 2018, later spearheading Kori’s K9 Dog Training in which she worked with rescues from San Diego and Camarillo, California, Coupeville and Tacoma, Washington and Kalispell, Montana from 2015 to 2018. In addition to her past endeavors, Ms. Hall has served as a volunteer to various animal rescue and care efforts including Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch, NW Greyhound Rescue, and Escondido Animal Shelter. Looking ahead, she plans to open another location of Kori’s Muttley Crew, eventually creating a nonprofit for dog rescue and adoptions.
