Peter N. Vouras, Restaurant Owner, Writer, Actor, and Comedian, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
Inspired by his restaurant-owning grandfather, Mr. Vouras wished to carry on his legacy and open a restaurant where he could share his grandmother’s special recipes with the world. In 1981, Mr. Vouras graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Arts in economics. In the years that followed, he took on a multitude of roles, including that of a web host and freelance writer. From 2004 until 2006, he served as an associate producer for News 12 CT before entering the restaurant industry as the manager of V Restaurant. In 2008, Mr. Vouras became the owner of the Huntington Street Café, the first of many restaurants under his leadership. Currently, he is excelling as the owner of FRESKOS, where he has been since 2016.
Throughout his career, Mr. Vouras has found additional success in the entertainment industry. From 2001 until 2013, he acted in multiple films, including “Pawn,” “Officer Down,” and “Spider-Man 2.” Moreover, in 2005, he carried out a role on the well-known television series, “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.” Reflecting on his accomplishments, Mr. Vouras attributes his success to his ability to coordinate well. He is able to balance his business ventures alongside his creative endeavors with no problems, and, due to his prior experience, he is able to endure the ups and downs of his career. However, Mr. Vouras has found that the ups abundantly outweigh the downs. Looking toward the future, he plans to open more restaurant locations, as he is passionate about making healthy food accessible to the public. Mr. Vouras is excited to see where his career will take him.
