Miriam D. Thompson, Owner of Global Mobility HR, LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in human resources.
Ms. Thompson became involved in her profession because with the knowledge she possesses, she felt that she had something to offer, being an immigrant who entered the country legally. She wanted to be a helping and guiding hand to those immigrants who wish to get their citizenship the legal and proper way. Since 2018, Ms. Thompson has excelled as an international human resources manager for Global Mobility HR LLC. Her responsibilities include helping several businesses in closing skilled and unskilled labor gaps in U.S. markets, liaises with management on immigration strategies and supports new and existing technologies platforms. Prior to this engagement, she worked as a multilingual manufacturing human resources generalist for Supreme Cores Holdings LLC and as the director of operations and human resources potential with Safe Harbour Wellness and a business immigration paralegal for Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd P.A.
Before embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science in languages and pedagogical faculty from the Tbilisi State University of Western Languages and Culture in 2001. Subsequently, she received a certificate of fraudulent document examination as well as a paralegal certificate. She further secured a Bachelor of Science in public relations and management from Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli State University. Moreover, she concluded her academic efforts with a Master of Science in human resources development at Clemson University in 2016.
Ms. Thompson attributes her success to hard work. She believes that any success takes hard work – even if one inherits something – it takes hard work to upkeep. In five years, Ms. Thompson would like to have a larger network and would like to tell more of the success stories of the people she has worked within her journey as well.
