Daniel Alan Day, Landscape Architect at Browning Day, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in architecture.
Born with an inherent interest in architecture, Mr. Day attended the University of Illinois when it came time for him to pursue formal education. In 1963, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in fine and applied arts, going on to earn his architecture license in numerous states, including his home state of Florida. From 1967 until 1992, Mr. Day excelled as the co-founder and an architect at Browning Day. The planning and landscape architectural firm was founded by Mr. Day alongside his business partner, James Browning. Though each of the men has since retired, the firm continues to operate today.
In addition to his primary career responsibilities, Mr. Day served as a board member for the Indianapolis International Violin Competition. Further, he maintains affiliation with the Opera Board. As a testament to his business success, Mr. Day was awarded the Council of the Sagamore’s Wabash Award. Reflecting on his multitude of accomplishments, he credits his ceaseless drive to succeed.
