Harboring years of professional excellence in her field, Ms. Linder has flourished as the co-founder and director of Agora Energy Technologies Ltd. since 2017, as well as the founder and the chief executive officer for Intengine Enterprises Inc. and Intengine Global Change Foundation since 2010. Moreover, she has found success as the principal of Insight Creative Communications since 1999. During this time, she was additionally active as the co-founder and the vice president of business development with Polymer Research Technologies Ltd. from 2009 to 2012. Ms. Linder has also worked as the co-founder of Churchill Armoured Car, as a consultant and change agent for private and public companies and as a stockbroker.
Prior to embarking upon her professional path, Ms. Linder obtained a Bachelor of Arts in germanistics from the University of Freiburg in Germany in 1988. She subsequently earned a Master of Business Administration in international business at the HEC School of Management in Paris, France in 1991 and a Master of Business Administration in finance and international business at the University of British Columbia in Canada in 1992. She additionally completed coursework at Yale University and Umeå University in Sweden. Furthermore, Ms. Linder achieved certifications in integrative personal counseling in addition to securities and insurance.
Recruited as an adviser for the Next 36 since 2012, Ms. Linder has served as a mentor for the Women’s Executive Network, the MBA Graduate Program at the University of British Columbia, the Minerva Foundation for BC Women and the Women’s Enterprise Centre. Furthermore, she was appointed as the chairman of the board for the Vancouver International Children’s Festival. In addition, she received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, the New Ventures Award from the BC Innovation Council and the Top New Service Supplier Award from the Royal Bank of Canada. She has also received the Trailblazer Top 100 Award for Canada’s Most Powerful Women from the Women’s Executive Network and the Sustainable Living Award from the Women of Worth. Likewise, Ms. Linder accepted the Tech Green Award from the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC and the Leadership Award from the Minerva Foundation for BC Women.
Attributing her success to her unique skill set, which enables small businesses to succeed, as well as her spirituality and goal-oriented mindset, Ms. Linder was drawn to her industry due to her propensity for leadership and telling the truth. Though operating in her own company has been a professional highlight, she is most proud of raising her wonderful children.
