Title: President, Owner
Company: Goodfellas Indiana
Location: Fishers, Indiana, United States
Abul Rahman, President and Owner at Goodfellas Indiana, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in food services.
In 1990, Mr. Rahman came to the United States. Looking for a job in Manhattan, he took on positions as a delivery boy and a deli worker, becoming acquainted with the city and his abundance of useful professional skills. He was inspired by his boss, a multi-millionaire business owner who had also immigrated to the United States from his home country and worked his way up to owning 45 delis. Mr. Rahman worked nights for many years, though, unfortunately, he ended up losing his job at the deli. However, he believes everything happens for a reason, as this event only motivated him to work harder.
Once Mr. Rahman moved to Indiana, everything began to fall into place for him. He got a job at a local restaurant, slowly but surely working his way up the ranks of leadership. He learned everything there is to know about the restaurant business in this role, for which he is endlessly grateful. Ultimately, in 2007, Mr. Rahman opened his own restaurant, Goodfellas Restaurant and Bar. Today, he continues to excel as the president and owner.
As a testament to Mr. Rahman’s professional success, he has been featured in four articles published in professional magazines, including the Indianapolis Star, Nuvo Magazine and Gise Magazine. Reflecting on his accomplishments thus far, Mr. Rahman attributes his success to hard work and a knack for maintaining the highest standard of customer service. He additionally credits his penchant for honesty, as he has always been honest with his customers and employees. Looking toward the future, Mr. Rahman would like to open another restaurant with a partner. He hopes to venture into the real estate industry as well, becoming more relaxed as he gets older.
