Upon completing an aptitude test in high school, Mr. Grover’s scores indicated that he would thrive as a chef or electrician. Taking the culinary route, he pursued coursework at a culinary school but discovered that he did not have a passion for the field. He later began his career as an electrician and earned an Associate of Science in electronics and electrical mechanics from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, Wisconsin. Mr. Grover continued to refine his skills through a five-year electrical apprenticeship before obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Distinguished for his expertise as an electrician, Mr. Grover initially worked as an apprentice, a union electrician and a foreman for an electric company. From 1994 to 2004, he was active as a project manager for South Eastern Wisconsin before establishing Grover Electric Contracting in 2004, with which he excels as the owner and master electrician. Offering services for residential, commercial and industrial applications, Mr. Grover also handles every responsibility from household service upgrades to generator services, among many others. With an expert team comprised of highly qualified designers and engineers, Grover Electric Contracting has become a leading company in the area for electrical services.
Finding great success in his business, Grover Electric Contracting was recognized as the Best Electrical Contractor in Oshkosh in 2019 and 2002. Additionally, they were presented with the Top of the Town Service Award in 2016 and 2017. Attributing his success to hard work, Mr. Grover believes in fighting the good fight for the accomplishments that one wishes to attain. Concerning his civic endeavors, Mr. Grover has flourished as a founding member, secretary and treasurer of the Fox Valley Libertarian Group, as well as the vice president of the Wisconsin Sons of the American Revolution. He has also participated on the board for the Coop Health Insurance Company and his local church. Additionally, he has been active in the Fox Wolf Watershed Cleanup, Advocacy Neighborhood Area and Oshkosh Waterfest, which is sponsored by local businesses and backs local artists. In the coming years, Mr. Grover hopes to ease into a well-deserved retirement.
