Ms. Groom is a past member of the American Nurses Association and the Emergency Nurses Association. Reflecting on her career thus far, she attributes her success to being motivated, enjoying a challenge and the support of her father. In five years’ time, she aims to create tools and planners for all medical professionals and help more students get through their educational programs. She also plans to continue living by her motto, “If you feed a man a fish, you fed him for a day. But if you teach him how to fish, you fed him for life.” Alongside her primary endeavor, Ms. Groom is also a volunteer at Camp 2 Belong.
