Following the legacy of his father, Mr. Ingersoll began learning the flooring trade at the age of 20. With his father as his mentor, he enjoyed working as an apprentice and sought an educational background to support his acquired knowledge. After completing numerous certifications classes in the installation of all types of flooring, Mr. Ingersoll received an Associate of Arts in architectural design from the Zoo College for Trades in 1989. Today, his impeccable skill workmanship has garnered his exceptional success in the construction industry.
For the past 23 years, since 1998, Mr. Ingersoll has excelled as the owner of Ingersoll Custom Homes and Flooring. In his role, he works on projects and oversees numerous subcontractors, which includes his son, Patrick. As a one-stop-shop for his customers, he has found great success in his local community and has been featured in Better Homes and Gardens. Likewise, he was voted the Best Gardens and Installation Company in the state of Missouri for four years. Mr. Ingersoll works to assure his workers start the day with a smile and prepared for the job so that at the end of the day that the customer satisfied with their customer service and skill.
Since deciding to spearhead his own flooring company, Mr. Ingersoll has become an active member of the Better Business Bureau and Home Advisors. He is also a donor to the Wounded Warrior Project. He attributes his vast success to his upbringing, as his parents were extremely hard-working people. In five years’ time, Mr. Ingersoll plans to continue working while also preparing his son to take over the business. When he is not working, he enjoys playing the guitar.
