Holding records of every item ever acquired since the gallery’s inception, it consists of approximately 40,000 American art books and catalogs, including 14,000 books and catalogs in stock on an average basis. The Olana Gallery is recognized as one of the largest collections of Western American art books for sale in the world. Prior to founding his own gallery, Mr. Rosenberg was a space salesman with Metromedia and Interior Design Magazine, and he holds a Certificate in Advertising from the City College of New York from 1965.

Notably, Mr. Rosenberg was acknowledged in the book “The Life of Luigi Lucioni,” written and published by Dr. Stuart P. Embury. He was further a participant in the building of several collections of art books, such as the Stuart P. Embury Collection. Alongside his endeavors in art collection, Mr. Rosenberg is an avid and successful jewelry designer, having had two pieces featured in the book “Collectible Silver Jewelry.” Working under the name of LeCount Designs: A Division of Olana Gallery, the jewelry-making business offers rainbow earrings and other unique jewelry that serve as pristine romantic gifts for weddings, anniversaries and other special occasions. Currently, he offers kinetic spinel heart earrings and ammolite pendants and earrings.

Mr. Rosenberg is the second person to ever issue a catalog on American art in the United States in 1978, and for his success, he was showcased at the National Gallery of Art in 2008. Additionally, he was recognized by the Ed and Deborah Shein Collection of Modernism, and built 10 percent of the Crystal Bridges Museum collection. As a testament to his success, he was highlighted in the 71st edition of Who’s Who in America in 2018.
