Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico, United States
Craig R. Bullock, President of Valley Homes, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in mobile home sales.
Since 2019, Mr. Bullock has been the president of Valley Homes, a Las Cruces-based mobile home dealer offering families the chance to own safe, high-quality homes at affordable prices. Mr. Bullock grew up around the mobile home industry: his father and a business partner sold mobile homes for decades, and he has warm memories of spending his childhood in a mobile home park with a tight-knit community. Though he had no plans to follow his father into the business, Mr. Bullock explains that “life had a way of bringing him back to his hometown,” and he entered the manufactured home industry in 2007. Though his father had long since retired, his business partner continued to run their company, Payless Homes, until 2018, when he was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and Mr. Bullock stepped in.
Mr. Bullock acted as general manager and sales manager for Payless Homes from 2018 until the following year, when he stepped down to open Valley Homes. Founded on the lessons learned running his father’s company and his dedication to helping families explore homeownership, Valley Homes boasts a fully bilingual staff and creative financing options, and Mr. Bullock strives to be personally involved with each customer at every step of the process. Valley Homes was named the best mobile home manufacturing housing realtor in Las Cruces in 2019, and since opening the company, Mr. Bullock has helped more than 75 families build homes throughout Southern and Central New Mexico.
Within five years, Mr. Bullock hopes to expand Valley Homes to include a location in Texas, and to be able to step away from the day-to-day administrative work in order to focus more on philanthropy. He has been an active donor and volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Community of Hope, and his area of the humane society for many years and looks forward to being able to continue his efforts on a larger scale. Mr. Bullock attributes his success to being fully transparent with clients and living by his motto, “be neighborly,” as much as possible.
A graduate of New Mexico State University, Mr. Bullock earned a Bachelor of Arts in business and individualized studies in 2005, and launched his first business venture, CBullock Jewelry, in 2007. A natural leader, he went on to spend several years as general manager of He Brews Coffee Shop and a hardlines manager for Sears Holdings before focusing on housing and real estate. Enthusiastic about the potential that mobile homes can have to change lives and communities, Mr. Bullock is an active member of both the National Realtors Association and the New Mexico Manufactured Housing Division. While he is proud of what he has accomplished with Valley Homes and excited to continue his work for years to come, Mr. Bullock considers his family to be his greatest joy, and is blessed to have a loving wife, a child, and a second on the way.
