Mr. Gandee started in real estate at a young age. He was attracted to how accessible it is and that he would be able to make his own hours. Over the years, it has been great for him. Before starting on his career path, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from the College of Charleston in 2012. He is currently working towards a Master of Business Administration at Winthrop University. He believes that he has been successful due to his success networking, being able to ask for help and being willing to grind.
Mr. Gandee’s career highlight was starting his brokerage firm before he turned 30. He is also proud that they are situated now as the primarily focused brokerage in the Charleston area. He founded Pragma Properties in 2014 and remains in that position to this day. He has also been a broker-in-charge and president of Maven Realty since 2017. Alongside his main priorities, he also founded REI Central. Giving back to the community has been a staple in Mr. Gandee’s life. He is the vice president of his neighborhood committee and precinct president of the Charleston County Democratic Party.
Looking towards the future, Mr. Gandee would like to have more agents that are business-focused. He would also like to be working towards retirement. As a testament to his success, he was named Realtors of Distinction by the Local Real Estate Board from 2019 to 2020 and 35 under 35 Business in Community Leadership by Charleston Business Journal in 2020.
