Brian K. Sutton, president of Sutton Enterprises LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in community service.
After 20 years of experience working in corporate America, Mr. Sutton was inspired to empower others to start their own businesses through his signature training methods. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Transylvania University in 1993. Prior to his success with Sutton Enterprises, he excelled as the southeast regional methods and procedures field manager of BellSouth Corp/Cingular Wireless from 1996 to 2007, a business manager at J.L. Hutchins Builders from 2007 to 2009, and a business operations trainer and assistant training manager of Sykes Enterprises, Inc. from 2009 to 2011. As a Louisville Police Department VIPS Graduate, a Louisville Center for Neighborhoods Institute Graduate and a Louisville One Love Ambassador, he remains committed to providing service to his community. Furthermore, he currently engages with the Louisville Office of Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods Workgroup and serves as the Director of Our Commonwealth and the Commissioner and Mayor Pro Tempore of the City of Briarwood.
In addition to his professional career, Mr. Sutton has contributed his expertise in various leadership positions to organizations such as the Optimist Club Bardstown, the Kiwanis Club Bardstown, the Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Nelson County, the Nelson County Education Endowment Fund and the Bardstown Main Street Program. Additionally, he currently serves as the director of the Dove Creek Phase II Homeowners Association. For his achievements, he is proud to have been a recipient of the BellSouth Medallion Award, the BellSouth Platinum Award, and the BellSouth Shining Star of the Year Award in 1998 and 1999. Moreover, he was honored by President Barack Obama for outstanding community service with numerous President’s Volunteer Service Awards between 2003 and 2012 and the prestigious President’s Call to Service Award in 2008. Above all, he is always gratified to receive input from the people he has assisted throughout the years.
