Amy Diamond, Owner at Johnson County Chem-Dry, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in carpet cleaning.

After owning a lawn care business from 1983 to 1992, Ms. Diamond went on to open her next endeavor called Discount Flooring, where she sold carpet, wood flooring, and tile. Only seeing customers every four to five years due to a flooring catastrophe or buying a new home, she desired to reach a customer base she could interact with more frequently. Upon heavy research and a visit with Mohawk Industries, Ms. Diamond was introduced to the carpet cleaning industry, finding herself in awe of the chem-dry method. In 1992, she officially spearheaded Johnson County Chem-Dry in Cleburne, Texas.

Johnson County Chem-Dry’s mission is to help people live healthy lives, which starts with clean carpets and a healthy home. Using a proprietary hot carbonating extraction cleaning process that penetrates deep into the fibers, they can remove an average of 98 percent of common household allergens from carpets and upholstery and 89 percent of the airborne bacteria in homes when a sanitizer is added. With all products safe for families and pets, Ms. Diamond specializes in the removal of pet urine in carpets. Notably, Chem-Dry is the world’s leading carpet cleaner, while also offering cleaning of upholstery, tile and grout, and area rugs.

Johnson County Chem-Dry is Certified Platinum by The Carpet and Rug Institute as an Approved Carpet and Rug Cleaning Service Provider under the CRI’s Seal of Approval Program. They are the only certified, bonded, and insured carpet cleaner in Johnson County, Texas. To attest to their success, the company has been the recipient of a Reader’s Choice Award in 2020, with Ms. Diamond being named to Circle of Excellence, Marketer of the Year, Mentor of the Year and Heart of Chem-Dry.

Ms. Diamond attributes her success thus far to her personality, determination and dependability. She adds her career highlight has been being a multiple national award winner, having 8,000 franchises with only 12 awards passed out each year and helping struggling and new franchise owners. Alongside her primary work, she maintains involvement with the Camp Fire, Boy Scouts of America, Cleveland Pregnancy Center, Cowboys for Kids, Best Friends for Non Pet Shelters, Children’s Advocacy Center, and local Chamber of Commerce. Looking ahead, Ms. Diamond hopes to be in business with her children.
