Recognized for more than four decades of contributions to agriculture and locally sourced food culture, Dr. Knoll has been a co-owner of Knoll Farms, which he has managed alongside his wife, Kristie, since 1979. Working in close collaboration with several regional culinary destinations, the 10-acre farm bears a great deal of pride in providing a wealth of high-quality, delicious, and healthy food options to customers near and far. In addition to his work in devising new products for the farm store, Dr. Knoll conducts routine seminars centering on his areas of expertise, which lay primarily in healthy living and dietary habits.
Before venturing onto his vocational path, Dr. Knoll sought a formal education at the University of California Irvine, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in 1974. Following this accomplishment, he earned a Doctor of Philosophy in organic chemistry, with doctoral research primarily centered on agricultural ecology, as well as his own studies on natural remedies and dietary science. Following the establishment of Knoll Farms, Dr. Knoll also worked in the aerospace industry between 1984 and 1986.
In a career suffused with highlights, Dr. Knoll is most proud to have remained steadfast in his belief in the natural fortitude of the human body, which he believes simply requires the right minerals and natural remedies to repair itself. Likewise, he is thankful to have been married to his wonderful wife of over 45 years. In accounting for his standout success, Dr. Knoll credits his relative isolation from the hustle and bustle of the modern world, and to have maintained his association with an agricultural ecosystem that promotes synthesis and harmony with his natural environment.
