Title: Owner
Company: BAZWNG LLC
Location: Riverdale, Utah, United States

Shawn O’Bray, the owner of BAZWNG LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of accessibility devices.

Well regarded as a talented inventor, Mr. O’Bray is credited with creating the “Button and Zip with No Grip,” a simple device that is intended to be used by people with quadriplegia to exert more independence in their daily lives. In addition, the device has been marketed toward people with amputated limbs or severe arthritis as well as those recovering from strokes and hand, arm, or shoulder surgeries. Forged from stainless steel, the BAZWNG is designed for one-handed use to anchor one’s zipper in place while putting on pants. As the owner of BAZWNG LLC since 2015, Mr. O’Bray is responsible for promoting the device, selling it to prospective customers, and packaging and shipping it to those who make purchases.

After becoming paralyzed in a car accident at the age of 19, Mr. O’Bray struggled for several months to learn how to live independently with his new disability. After earning a degree at Weber State College, he worked for the Internal Revenue Service for more than two decades. After retiring, he felt compelled to help those struggling with similar issues and patented his zipper tool, which he had already been using to great effect for several years. To remain aware of developments in the field, Mr. O’Bray maintains his affiliation with both the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
