Nikolas Lamprou, owner of Niko’s Souvlaki, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in restaurant ownership.
Mr. Lamprou is a food and beverage entrepreneur and the owner of Niko’s Souvlaki, an authentic Greek restaurant specializing in traditional kalamaki, gyros, and more. Born and raised in Greece, Mr. Lamprou earned an Associate of Arts from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2014 and came to the United States shortly after. Fueled by his passion for food and cooking and a lifelong dream of owning a restaurant, Niko’s Souvlaki opened in 2020.
While Mr. Lamprou acknowledges the challenges of launching a new business in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, Niko’s Souvlaki has taken root and become a neighborhood destination for personal service and high-quality food. He credits his success to his positivity, tenacity, and focus on customer service, and advises other would-be restaurateurs to stay optimistic and be ready to push through any obstacles that come their way. In the coming years, Mr. Lamprou hopes to expand and open other locations, with an eventual goal to have 51 restaurants: one for each star on the American flag.
