Backed by years of experience in cosmetology, Mr. Gardner has excelled as the owner and founder of Tou Lou Color Salon and SoJ Barbershop since 2016 and 2018, respectively. Having begun his career in beauty as a makeup artist in Los Angeles, California, his makeup work has been published in various publications, including People and Look magazines. Likewise, his television credits include American Idol, MTV and Vh1. Upon returning to his home state of Florida and commencing his entrepreneurial career, Mr. Gardner is proud to embody his passion for beauty in not just hair and makeup but everything that beauty touches. This is the origin of his slogan; “Beauty In Everything.”
Mr. Gardner attributes his vast success to his strong work ethic and genuinely enjoying what he does as an artist. Along with his cosmetology license, he is also supported by an associate’s degree from the Wyoming Technical Institute from 2006. Looking toward the future, Mr. Gardner looks forward to starting his newest endeavor with his business partner, a makeup line known as “Haute Sauce.” Further down the line, he hopes to open his own cosmetology school, as he believes he has much to pass onto the next generation of beauty professionals.
