With a lifelong desire to help others know who they are and where they came from, Mr. Rivera-Ramos has dedicated his career to his work as a genealogist. Since 1979, he has found notable success as a Rivera-Ramos family tree biographer. Moreover, he is proud to maintain 14 family trees, each of which includes 15,000, 18,000 or 30,000 people from his own family tree. Over the course of his career, he is gratified to have worked with parishes and churches to comb through a multitude of records, many of which are over 400 years old. While his storied career has been suffused with highlights, he is most grateful for the ability to study his family’s ancestry from as far back as 1380 A.D.

Mr. Rivera-Ramos is regarded for his knowledge regarding the arrival of the first Corsican in Puerto Rico. Through uncovering information on the first Santarusi that arrived in Puerto Rico, he was able to determine the exact date upon which his ancestors arrived in the country. Through his research, he has determined that he is related to Queen Isabella, Christopher Columbus and various Portuguese kings. To remain abreast with advancements in the field, he has maintained professional affiliation with the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society.

Revered for his military service, Mr. Rivera-Ramos served as a medic in the United States Navy between 1981 and 1986. During this time, he initially completed coursework at the United States Navy School of Medicine. Supplementing his professional career, he has excelled as a contributor to a 1992 book of poetry, for which he was honored to have been recognized as the Best Poet with Commendation. Looking toward the future, he aims to continue answering his clients’ emails to aid in their quests to study their family history.
