Fatima Abdelrahman Abdalla Abdelrahman, Corporate Business Owner at American Products, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in cosmetics.
A refugee from Darfur, Sudan who fled Egypt in the hopes of a greater future for her and her children, Ms. Abdelrahman has maintained her entrepreneurial spirit throughout her life’s journey. She came to entrepreneurship with the creation of her organic hair shampoo, which opened many opportunities for her organic line with roots and origins from Africa. Today, Ms. Abdelrahman excels as the corporate business owner of American Products, an import-export company that deals mainly with imports of products and ingredients from Sudan, Egypt and recently Turkey.
Within the company’s cosmetics line, Ms. Abdelrahman sells shampoos, conditioners, body oils, hair oils, traditional Sudanese perfumes, fragrances, and incense. She also has an organic eyeliner, which is unique from typical American eyeliner, as they use a type of coal that is harvested from mountains in Sudan. Ms. Abdelrahman’s organics line features organic honey from the region of Sudan, along with organic sesame oil, olive oil, peanut oil, and Arabic gum.
Outside of her primary roles, Ms. Abdelrahman is grateful to be involved with the World Organization for Peace, a non-profit organization that is considered a branch of the United Nations. She initially came across the organization in Turkey and decided to get involved as she saw it as a beautiful opportunity to promote peace and raise awareness in Sudan and Egypt, as well as the whole world. Her daughter currently serves as the organization’s Sudan peace director. In addition, Ms. Abdelrahman is a volunteer to the San Diego School Board.
