Dick Druckman, owner and president of Gold Medal Impressions, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in sports photography.
Mr. Druckman has always been an avid sports fan as well as a lover of photography. His professional career began in 1984 after his photographs of the Los Angeles Olympics were published by several news outlets. Over the course of 35 years since, he has captured thousands of award-winning images at nearly 15 Super Bowls, World Series, Stanley Cup Finals, NBA Championships and Olympic Games. Above all, his goal has always been to capture iconic scenes and distribute them as limited editions of collectible works of art, and his images have been published in Sports Illustrated, USA Today, Parade Magazine, and distributed to publications globally by the Associated Press and Zuma Press.
Mr. Druckman holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Trinity College and earned a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School in 1962. Thereafter, he completed Ph.D. coursework in social research at the New School. Prior to establishing Gold Medal Impressions in 2001, he spent 30 years as a senior officer with Bristol Myers Squibb, leading the marketing, sales, and strategic planning department. Looking toward the future, his goal is to continue working as the president of his company, as he is passionate about what he does.
