Mary M. Sisk, Owner of Sisk Construction, LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers for dedication, achievements, and leadership in construction and historic restoration.
With over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, Ms. Sisk found notable success as a partner with Sisk Painting and Roofing, LLC from 1980 to 2016. Making a name for herself within a male-dominated industry, she became renowned for her limestone work, shingling and hot tar roofing, which involved 500 degrees of heat. Upon her husband’s retirement, she founded Sisk Construction, LLC, a company that specializes in historic restoration. She and her team are proud to restore century-old buildings such as churches, courthouses, commercial buildings and residential houses. Moreover, she replaces parts such as floor joists and contributes to stone and sheet metal work.
Though her career has been suffused with highlights, Ms. Sisk is gratified that her work on the Bates County Courthouse in Butler was featured in publications such as Missouri Magazine, West Central Electric Magazine and St. Luke’s Magazine. Finished in 2007 after four phases of work, she and her team were happy to restore the Richardson Romanesque gutters, statues, catwalk and ornate designs on the towers. Further dedicated to her community, she is proud to have recently installed a new communion rail alter at her local church. Looking toward the future, her goal is to continue working, aiding community members and maintaining her company’s reputation. Eventually, she aims to transfer business operations to her youngest son, who has been working with the company since his ninth birthday.
