Linda Lazo, owner of Linda’s De Novo Hair Design, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in beauty and hair care.
Attributing much of her success to her kind-hearted nature, along with the support of the people from her community, Ms. Lazo came to her career out of a long-standing interest in hair styling. She is a strong believer in bringing out the beauty in people that they can’t see themselves and making a difference in the lives of others. Thoroughly motivated by her children as well, she holds considerable expertise in hair styling, nails, aesthetics, skin care and customer service, and has excelled as the owner of Linda’s De Novo Hair Design for nearly 30 years.
Linda’s De Novo Hair Design operates in two locations, including one inside the Embassy Suites at Brooks. Ms. Lazo considers establishing her own business to be the highlight of her career and is incredibly proud that her salon has seen clients that include a state representative and the president of the San Antonio Spurs. Additionally, she sells jewelry with Nice & Bella, an online store that offers a wide range of affordable jewelry, and has recently become affiliated with Kyani, a health and wellness company. Looking toward the future, she hopes to continue expanding her business and to create a good environment for her stylists so that they can find success and achieve their goals.
Emphasizing the importance of establishing good client relationships, Ms. Lazo has done considerable work to empower her fellow women who are seeking careers of their own. Working with Dress for Success, she provides instruction on how to do makeup and how to dress for events like work interviews and other professional functions. She is also affiliated with Nirvel Professional, an all-natural line of hair products. For her excellence, Ms. Lazo was featured in an interview with the Embassy Suites at Brooks in San Antonio, became the 22nd out of 140 people to be recognized by Creative Hands USA, won First Place in the Nirvel Professional Transformation Competition, and was honored as Number 9 in the USA by Kyani.
