Since 2015, he has excelled as the owner of Buckeye Water, LLC, which offers water transfer, water sourcing and oil and gas in Lea County, New Mexico. In his role, Mr. Pearce deals with the management of the business, including overseeing managers, ensuring contracts are up-to-date and strategic planning. He also bids on private sector projects and enforces the budget. Proud of his entrepreneurial endeavors, Mr. Pearce notes being economical and competitive have made him and his business a success.
Mr. Pearce earned a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in chemistry from Texas Tech University. In the early years of his career, he worked with Converging Milers Company, having also worked across the oil and gas industry and land and agricultural real estate experience. Alongside his primary roles today, Mr. Pearce is a supporter of the Lee County Fair and Rodeo and has been involved with the Lee County Beef Initiative, which helps feed families in need in the county. Reflecting on his profession, Mr. Pearce’s advice to budding professionals is to love what you do and do not be afraid to take on a challenge. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, golfing, horseback riding and hiking.
