Mr. Strickman-Levitas was the recipient of the “Best of the Best” Contractor Builder Award given by Emerald Coast Magazine, a publication that is released twice per month to upper-income households from Pensacola to Panama City, Florida, in 2021.
Mr. Strickman-Levitas obtained a Bachelor of Science in international sales marketing from Boston University in 1990. He initially pursued a career in advertising and served as a corporate marketing services manager with Suntory, a global leader in consumer packaged goods, before turning his attention to custom home building.
An enthusiastic contributor to various civic activities, Mr. Strickman-Levitas’s memberships have included the South Walton County Small Business Association and the Coastal Conservation Association. In addition, he is a former board member of Goodwill Homes in Memphis, a former secretary, vice president, president and board director for The Estuary subdivision in Santa Rosa Beach. Luke & Blue’s is affiliated as a member of the Building Industry Association of Oklaoosa and Walton Counties Inc.
Mr. Strickman-Levitas attributes his success to his upbringing, to his education, his perseverance and persistence, and to his drive for excellence. He considers his most notable career achievement to be profiting with his construction company for more than 20 years, which is going strong despite two recessions and the COVID-19 pandemic. In the coming years, Mr. Strickman-Levitas is hoping for continued success for Luke & Blue’s.
