Since 2020, Ms. Weibel has prospered as owner of Haven Financial Planning, a premier wealth management service based in Williamsville, New York. The firm’s clients are mostly women who are widowed or have gone through or in the process of a divorce. Haven Financial helps them with financial education, making sure that when they take settlements for the divorce that they understand how it affects their income and taxes. In addition, the firm calculate retirement income, investments and insurance, writes wills and power of attorneys, and oversees estate planning for business owners. Additionally, a significant part of her practice involves working with emerging business owners developing viable financial plans that encompass both their personal and professional goals.
After initially obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in marketing and business from the University of Buffalo in 2001, Ms. Weibel continued her education with a Master of Business Administration in banking, corporate, finance, and securities law from Wilmington University in Delaware in 2005. She served as assistant vice president and licensed financial consultant for M&T Securities from 1999 to 2015 and a financial advisor with LPL Financial from 2015 to 2020.
Ms. Weibel attributes her success to her clients for they become family and friends to her, as well as to being upfront, honest, clear and concise in helping her clients. She advises her clients based on what they need and what’s right for them. She considers her most notable achievement her induction into Who’s Who in Banking and Finance by online journal Buffalo Business First in 2020. In coming years, Ms. Weibel hopes to be able to grow outside of her local network and receive more publicity from well-known organizations such as Forbes and The New York Times and be known nationally.
