Christian Buck, Owner at Cascadia Pizza Co., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in entrepreneurship.
In 2015, Mr. Buck founded Cascadia Pizza Co. in Enumclaw, Washington, offering Neo-Neapolitan style pizza in two brick-and-mortar locations, along with three food trucks. The firm has gained the reputation as the northwest’s premier wood-fired pizza event caterer, specializing in weddings, rehearsal dinners and corporate events.
Mr. Buck started Cascadia Pizza Co. as a weekend food truck business after he had the opportunity to purchase a trailer. Everything he knew about running a business and making pizza was self-taught through online resources like YouTube, and he had to learn through trial and error, stating, “That was the best education I could’ve ever gotten and better than any school could ever give me.” He was able to grow the pizza truck business by catering for events and its success enabled him to leave his full-time job in a dental laboratory and be an entrepreneur.
Mr. Buck has admitted that he struggled a lot in school, but he didn’t let his struggles keep him down and keep him from succeeding. He wants to share his story to encourage people, especially young entrepreneurs, who are going through the same thing as him and tell them to never give up and just keep on trying to find their path. “Don’t give up. If you seriously believe in what you’re doing, don’t give up.”
