With Jac & Mac Photography, Mr. Laya has thrived as a wedding and event photographer covering all of Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and the Eastern Pennsylvania area.
In addition, Mr. Laya has excelled as a senior principal analyst with Mobius from 2017 to 2019, a systems engineer with Science Applications International Corporation Inc., from 2015 to 2017, a principal analyst for General Dynamics Information Technology from 2014 to 2015. He developed Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Ballistic Missile Defense with Future Technologies Inc. from 2012 to 2014. In what Mr. Laya considers a career highlight, he had served his country with the United States Navy as an operations specialist and team trainer from 1990 to 2012.
After obtaining an associate’s degree in general science with Tidewater Community College in 2010, Mr. Laya followed with a bachelor’s degree in information technology from ECPI University in 2012. He continued his education with a Master of Business Administration from Excelsior College in 2016.
Mr. Laya’s goal in the coming years is to become financially independent. He wants to go to South America and visit Venezuela, where he and his family came from. He intends to help a lot of people, especially the Spanish community.
