Since 2016, Mr. Tutino has prospered as vice president with Bitterlin Companies Inc. & San Diego Property Management, a premier diversified real estate asset management, brokerage and consulting firm, where he is the manager of the commercial portfolio for the company and constituting over 50 properties and 300 tenants. His responsibilities include managing common areas, projects and improvements, overseeing maintenance staff and different contractors and collecting rent, as well as brokerage, leasing and sales. Previously, he had provided superior service from 2015 to 2016 as an associate in commercial real estate leasing, sales, investments and development with Duhs Commercial in San Diego.
After coursework at Hendrix College from 2011 to 2012 in Conway, Arkansas, Mr. Tutino acquired a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management in 2015 from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. He is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and holds a California real estate brokerage license from the California Board of Real Estate.
Mr. Tutino attributes his success to his and his family’s work ethic. His family came to the United States from Sicily in the 40s and ’50s, starting in New York, New Jersey, and later moved to San Diego because his grandfather was a tuna fisherman and a carpenter. With the money they made they were able to invest in real estate and instilled in him the advantages of dealing in properties. In the coming years, Mr. Tutino intends to stay committed, move forward, and provide and share the best of his services to his clients.
