Mr. Cutts is a combat veteran of the U.S. Army, who was deployed for five years in Iraq. After his medical retirement from military service, he earned an associate’s degree in building trade and general studies from Central Texas College in 2018.
Taught to cook by his grandmother, Mr. Cutts returned to his hometown in 2021 to take over his family’s restaurant business, which was established by his great-grandparents in 1967. He worked at the aforementioned restaurant in his youth and now represents the fourth generation of the Cutts family to operate the business. Mr. Cutts is notably listed in “100 Dishes to Eat in Alabama Before You Die,” published by AL.com of the Alabama Media Group. Moreover, he belongs to the National Small Business Association and volunteers with youth sports in his community.
