Mr. Sanderson is the owner of Green Energy West, LLC, a company that has been thriving since 2009. He is also the co-owner of Sanderson and Knutson Fruit Company. Prior to this, he worked in the insurance business. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 1964 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing management. Since 1970, he has developed more than 40 residential production housing developments in various California communities, including Mammoth Lakes, Escondido and San Juan Capistrano.
Mr. Sanderson is active as a member of the Young Men’s Christian Association and Rotary International, both humanitarian organizations. Coming out of college, he began working in insurance and then started his own development businesses building single-family detached projects. He seized the opportunity to purchase a wheat ranch in Oregon and turned this into a thriving apple orchard and business of more than 4,000 acres of trees. In the future, he will continue expanding his development business and rely on his work ethic, which has already taken him far in his career, to continue reaching new goals.
