Prior to this position, she found success as the owner of a sewing and garment manufacturing business in the Philippines. Before beginning her career, Ms. Ventura pursued a formal education at Centro Escolar University, from which she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration in 1960.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Ms. Ventura is incredibly dedicated to her family, including her loving husband and three wonderful children. Furthermore, she is the proud grandmother to her 11 amazing grandchildren. Now at the age of 81, Ms. Ventura is particularly grateful to have inspired her granddaughter to obtain a full scholarship and become a physician.
Ms. Ventura has attributed her success to her drive, determination and perseverance, having been perpetually motivated to provide a better life for her children. She has also been committed to helping her children experience the American Dream for themselves, having initially come to the United States in 1990 and initially worked with the Jewish Community in New York City for five years. Likewise, Ms. Ventura has strived to instill the importance of love among her family as she is a firm believer that love enables one to do everything in life.
Ms. Ventura was initially drawn to her areas of expertise following her involvement in her family business, working alongside her grandfather and stepmother to support her disabled war veteran father. She fondly recalls having fostered the success of her children and the opportunities provided by her relocation to America. Looking toward the future, Ms. Ventura hopes to continue providing a better life to her children, grandchildren and herself in the United States.
