Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Novak pursued an education at Indiana University Bloomington, from which she earned a Bachelor of Science in resource management in 1997.
Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Novak has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. In terms of her civic efforts, she contributes to charitable golf outings as a sponsor and has donated frequently to Habitat for Humanity. Ms. Novak was additionally active as the former chairman of the board for the Fishers Chamber of Commerce, with which she remains a member, and a former member of the Fishers Planning Committee and Precinct Committee.
In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Novak remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise, including the Better Business Bureau, the National Tile Contractors Association, Women-Owned Business Enterprise and the One Zone Chamber of Commerce. Furthermore, she was recognized with multiple Awards for Merit and Excellence by the Association of Builders and Contractors. Likewise, Ms. Novak has accepted Design Awards for a number of her projects.
Ms. Novak attributes her success to her stellar reputation, which has led to a substantial amount of referrals, as well as her remarkable and dedicated team. She was drawn to her profession as it was her family legacy, as EF Marburger was established by her great-grandfather in 1913. Among the many highlights of his career, she is incredibly proud of buying EF Marburger in 2018 and becoming appointed as the board chairman for the Fishers Chamber of Commerce in 2013. Looking toward the future, Ms. Novak hopes to expand her business in the coming years.
