With decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Wendfeldt has excelled as the president of Radical Rugs since 2022 and the director of change and innovation with ATW Enterprise since 2017. Additionally active as the owner of his eponymous educational consulting company, he formerly served with the Renewal by Andersen Special Events & Trade Show as a senior marketing specialist from 2017 to 2021 and an event coordinator from 2017 to 2018. Mr. Wendfeldt previously found success as the president and chief executive officer for Selah Music Inc. from 1993 to 2003.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Wendfeldt pursued an education at Central Washington University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in music education for grades K-12. He subsequently concluded his formal academic efforts at Heritage University, graduating with a Master of Public Administration in 1996. In addition to these accomplishments, Mr. Wendfeldt obtained his certifications as an alcohol and drug abuse counselor and a guidance counselor.
Mr. Wendfeldt began his career as in the field of education, working as a public administrator for grades K-12 for the East Valley School District between 1987 and 2001. Operating as an audio professional for Guitar Center between 2003 and 2008, he also contributed to the Roosevelt School District as a music teacher from 2008 to 2009, the Phoenix Elementary School District #1 as a general music teacher for grades K-8 from 2009 to 2011 and the Waitsburg School District 401-100 as a drug and alcohol counselor, music director and guidance counselor. Furthermore, Mr. Wendfeldt has thrived as a working musician, having performed across the U.S., Canada, Europe and even the Vatican.
Mr. Wendfeldt has attributed his success to his tenacity, persistence and his inimitable drive to succeed. He was drawn to the field of music education due to his own experiences in high school and his many years of musical prowess, the lessons from which he continues to applies to his businesses. Among the many highlights of his career, his ability to help a young female student of his join the U.S. Military Academy at West Point at a time when no other women had ever been enrolled, which set a precedent that empowered women in the military. Looking toward the future, Mr. Wendfeldt hops to continue his innovative work and is currently training a young man to eventually take over his businesses.
