During her career, Ms. Pilsbury-Benson, who has 10 siblings, has had the opportunity to work side-by-side with her mother, who transformed their home into a state-certified school in 1976. A prolific writer, she is the author of “Thank You, Universe: An Expression of Gratitude for Our Faithful Friend.”
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Pilsbury-Benson earned an associate degree in child development. Holding a genuine love for children, she is co-founder of the Montclair Preschool Directors Network. Her most notable achievement is carrying on her mother’s legacy by successfully operating the Pilsbury School. Over the next five years, she wants to continue to enhance and grow the business. Specifically, she aims to establish a garden at the school and incorporate it into the curriculum to help the young students become increasingly engaged in nature.
