Between 1961 and 1962, Mr. Foster studied drawing and painting at the School of Fine Arts in Geneva, Switzerland. He additionally refined his skills through the Art Students League in New York as well as the Boston Museum School. As a testament to his exceptional endeavors, he was presented with the $100 Award at the Greater Hartford Civic and Arts Festival in 1975. Attributing his success to his perseverance and positive attitude, Mr. Foster fondly recalls fabricating 1500 square feet of stained glass at a new church in North Philadelphia over the course of three years.
