Niles R. Prince, EdD, owner and educator at CompressionsCPR LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of health care.
Hailing from a previous career in law enforcement and military service, Dr. Prince has distinguished himself through his role at CompressionsCPR LLC, an American Heart Association (AHA)-certified provider of training courses for such life-saving skills as first aid, basic life support, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. In his capacity as an instructor, he is responsible for organizing course materials, facilitating class discussion, and ensuring that the curriculum remains in alignment with standards set by the AHA.
Dr. Prince initially earned distinction through service to his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1998 until 2002. During this time, he received meritorious promotions to the rank of a corporal, a role in which he was directly responsible for the training and mentorship of eight marines. Having grown accustomed to militaristic standards, he went on to join the New York City Police Department in 2002. While protecting lives and upholding the law, Dr. Prince was hailed as the Patrol Officer of the Month in 2006, and proceeded to contribute his efforts to major criminal investigations as a detective. He subsequently found success as a squad sergeant with the grand larceny division of the New York City Police Department, through which he provided administrative and instructional oversight for detectives and officers prior to his retirement in 2020.
Well-qualified in his field, Dr. Prince studied social and criminal justice at Ashford University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2010 and a master’s degree in public administration in 2014. Several years later, he graduated from Capella University with a Doctor of Education in curriculum and instruction in 2021. Outside of his academic degrees, he has been certified extensively in criminal investigation and instruction, in personal leadership and success through the Columbia Business School, and in various lifesaving techniques via the AHA.
As a commitment to his field, Dr. Prince has maintained his affiliation with several relevant organizations, including the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association, the Sergeant’s Benevolent Association, the National Education Association and the AHA, to name only a few.
