John Hauge, Entrepreneur at Niteflyers, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in maintenance and entrepreneurship.
A driven and innovative entrepreneur, Mr. Hauge is the inventor behind Niteflyers, for which he holds the patent. Invented in 2016, Niteflyers are kites that can be flown during the day or at night with glow sticks to change colors. He has met with numerous influential people in the business and innovation space, such as Kevin Harrington from “Shark Tank” and Omar Periu, who encouraged and guided him in the right direction to spearhead his company. With a goal of bettering the lives of his family, he is currently in the process of obtaining his trademark for the business, as well as figuring out how to best market, create and sell his product.
Outside of his work as an entrepreneur, Mr. Hauge has worked in the maintenance department for a meat packing plant for the past 24 years. An active member of his local community, he donates to various charitable causes, including breast cancer organizations as a way to honor his mother, who was diagnosed with breast cancer. In five years’ time, Mr. Hauge hopes to see his products in stores, as well as prosper as an entrepreneur and an inventor. He also hopes to spend more time with his family and enjoy and live life to the fullest.
