Mr. Anvarov previously began his career as a general manager for a Jimmy Johns franchise location. He is additionally active as a supporter of regional charitable organizations and ministries. Before embarking on his professional path, he pursued an education at Bellevue University, from which he earned a bachelor’s degree in 2010. Mr. Anvarov was initially exposed to the restaurant industry at the age of eight, as his father owned a restaurant that helped his develop his interest and passion for his field.
In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Anvarov has accrued several accolades throughout his impressive career. Notably, Avesta Persian Grill was recognized among the Top 100 Places to Eat in Texas by Yelp and the Top 100 Houston Restaurants by The Houston Chronicle. Moreover, Mr. Anvarov’s outstanding cooking and administrative skills were celebrated when Avesta Persian Grill was honored among the 15 Best Places for Kebabs in Houston by Foursquare and the Top 4 Most Popular Spots in Houston’s Westchase Neighborhood.
Mr. Anvarov attributes his success to the influence, compassion and unconditional love of his father, who instilled within him a number of valuable lessons that have served him well throughout his own journey as a restaurateur. He has been further motivated by his belief in himself to succeed and persevere under adversity as well as his natural generosity. Looking toward the future, Mr. Anvarov wants to continue fostering the spirit of harmony and hospitality in his community through Avesta Persian Grill while expanding the restaurant to new location in his home state.
