In preparation for his career as an accountant, he graduated from DePaul University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois. Alongside his work in accounting, Mr. Glass has been the business development director of QUAS LLC since 2018. Prior to these positions, he garnered experience as the chief financial officer and comptroller for two Anheuser-Busch distributors from 1985 to 2000. He additionally worked as a business director for Abex Friction Products Group, comptroller for Dad’s Root Beer, internal audit supervisor at IC Industries Inc. and public accounting auditor at Deloitte.
For his professional accomplishments, Mr. Glass earned a Presidential Service Award in 2020. In 1993, he earned a Dimensions of Excellence Bronze Award from the finance and accounting department at Anheuser-Busch. As the business development director of QUAS LLC, Mr. Glass oversaw the company securing an economic development agreement with the Village of Hazelcrest. To keep abreast of his field, he has maintained affiliation with Alpha Phi Alpha since 1983 and served as chapter president from 2014 to 2016. He is a member of the Brewers Association, Homewood Area Chamber of Commerce, Illinois CPA Society and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In his spare time, Mr. Glass enjoys music, gospel, cooking Creole food and spending time with family and friends.
