Since 2014, Mrs. Maragos has excelled as the owner of Anemos Greek Cuisine. The restaurant specializes in Greek/Mediterranean dishes. In this endeavor, Mrs. Maragos is partnered with her mother, who opened the restaurant with her and has decades of experience as a restaurant owner. Anemos Greek Cuisine was recognized as the Best Greek Restaurant in Monmouth by Health & Life Magazine. Alongside her work as a restaurateur, Mrs. Maragos authored and published “What Do You Feel When You See A Rainbow?” in 2022.
Before her current position, Mrs. Maragos worked as an educator for 20 years, during which time she focused on teaching children between the ages of three and eight. Furthermore, she began her career teaching kindergarten at a private school in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, where she was promoted to the position of assistant director. Subsequently, she taught in the public school system over the course of 15 years.
Mrs. Maragos prepared for her career with a bachelor’s degree in communications at Seton Hall University. Following this achievement, she graduated with a master’s degree in early childhood education and professional development at the same institution. In her spare time, Mrs. Maragos enjoys traveling, going to the beach, cooking, exploring cuisines and playing volleyball.
