Ms. Yu became involved in her profession after studying abroad in New Zealand at 18. She graduated from her university and returned to Shanghai, where she began working and eventually launched a business with her friend in 2007 in which she helped Chinese students travel overseas to study. Ms. Yu’s portfolio has only grown since coming to the U.S., and she started another company in the education field in 2018. In the coming years, she hopes to establish a foundation to contribute to her community. She hopes to secure $3 million to donate to a local church.
