In his other professional endeavors, Mr. Hickcox was also the owner of Cross Bone Outfitters in Homestead, Florida, from 2017 to 2022. Outside of his primary duties of managing his business, he also remains active in his community as a civic-minded citizen, regularly supporting veterans and local youth sports in Florida.
As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Hickcox honorably served in the United States Marine Corps from 2002 to 2022. During this time, he primarily operated alongside the II Marine Expeditionary Force as a counterintelligence and human intelligence operations chief. To commemorate his military service, he was honored with a Joint Meritorious Service Medal in 2019 and a Bronze Star Medal in 2008. Mr. Hickcox also pursued a formal education, conducting intelligence and intelligence operations studies at Cochise College. Attributing much of his success to his tenacity and the motivation offered to him by his family, he is particularly proud of his military career.
