Brandon E. Cerrito, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at The Carpet Chemist Franchising, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Business Owners for dedication, achievements, and leadership in carpet cleaning and repair.

With more than 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Cerrito has excelled as the founder and chief executive officer of The Carpet Chemist Franchising since 2010. Operating the business alongside his wife, Tonya, whom he considers to be the backbone of the business, he is responsible for the many services offered by the business, including dry and steam carpet cleaning, oxygen-based odor neutralization and removal, carpet dyeing and color restoration, and carpet repair for pet damages, burns, tears, water damage and re-stretching, among other treatments. Mr. Cerrito and his wife are renowned in their field for their hands-on approach to their business, conducting most of the business personally while building relationships with their clients and even their competing businesses.

Prior to establishing The Carpet Chemist Franchising, Mr. Cerrito worked for Stanley Steamer between 2000 and 2010, advancing from a custodial role to eventually become a crew chief. He had previously harbored a desire to become an animator for Walt Disney Studios, but discovered he did not want to animate utilizing computers despite the digital direction the company was headed towards. After learning the basics of the carpet cleaning business, Mr. Cerrito decided to venture into his own business endeavors in the field, self-teaching himself via research and experimentation while focusing on the things his competitors were hesitant to do at the time.

Beyond his primary professional responsibilities, Mr. Cerrito has maintained his affiliation with the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce. Notably, he previously completed coursework in animation, interactive technology, video graphics and special effects at Westwood College. To support his ambitions, he likewise obtained his certification from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration. Featured in Authority Magazine as a testament to his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Cerrito was further celebrated among the 20 Under 40 by Sentinel News in 2021.

Mr. Cerrito has attributed his success to his perseverance, his hard work and his collaborations with his wife, who has always executed or improved upon his ideas while handling many other responsibilities in the business. He is separated from his peers by his extraordinary passion for what he does, his exceptional problem-solving skills, his discipline in the workplace, and his pleasant and personable nature. Among the many highlights of his career, he is incredibly proud of the gradual development of his company from a homegrown operation to a top-of-the-line business that can be franchised. Looking toward the future, Mr. Cerrito hopes to witness the expansion of The Carpet Chemist Franchising to hundreds of franchised locations over the coming years.
